The Role of TRC
The Texas Reliability Council (TRC) a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is leading the effort to take the Texas Electric Grid to new levels of reliability and performance. Through education and advocacy, we are placing the spotlight on how Utility-Scale Microgrid Technologies can provide a market-based solution to take the grid from good to great.
The coalition is made up of businesses, governmental organizations, elected officials, and community members dedicated to educating consumers, the PUC, ERCOT, and other organizations involved in providing electricity to Texans about how Utility Scale Microgrid Technologies can strengthen the grid’s resilience and reliability during most extreme weather conditions.
