
Harry Masterson
Board Member
A native Houstonian, Harry Masterson is an industry leader with deep roots in the Houston area. His proven track record spans over nearly three decades in the real estate industry, primarily focusing on large land transactions and Quality Planned Developments (QPDs).
Experienced in bringing the right stakeholders to the table and pioneering innovative development concepts, Harry’s role as Managing Principal at EMBER allows him to primarily focus on new business opportunities and industry relationships. Harry has dedicated years to the homebuilding and development industries.
Prior to forming EMBER, he was the founding principal of the Cernus Group and Concourse Companies, where he led the development of various communities across the Houston area. In 2010, the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) presented Harry with the prestigious “Developer of the Year” award. Outside of work, Harry has served various leadership roles for several industry, community and nonprofit organizations.
He proudly served as the GHBA President of the Board of Directors in 2013. Additionally, he was a past president for Da Camera of Houston, committee member for the Museum of Fine Arts – Houston, and a board chairman of Scenic Houston. Currently, he serves on the board of the West Houston Association and The Orange Show Center for Visionary Arts.
Harry is a Texas Licensed Real Estate Broker and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. When not in Houston, Harry and his wife Kathy enjoy spending time at their farm with their daughter and twin sons.
